Summer flowers!

I'm missing my fresh cut flowers from my flower garden! The night before our first frost in September I picked all my Sunflowers and Silver Cups. I enjoyed them in this bay window for about a week that looks out towards our sauna. I think I will plant these again next year!

OH Pam,
Your flowers are lovely! You were smart to pick and enjoy them before the frost got them!

I LOVE the sunflowers. Are the pink ones cosmos? I see you called them silver cups, but I never heard of those.

Marci,
The pink ones are called Silver Cups, a friend from Germany sent me the seeds for my birthday. I had never heard of them before, but they bloomed for me even after a couple frosts. I will definitely plant them again. I also had cosmos, but only got a couple blossoms on them, I may have to put them in a different spot?!

Marci,

I looked at the picture again and I see that I had one cosmos in it, it is the third vase from the right, the top right pink flower, the petals are larger than the Silver Cups. They are pretty flowers too!
