I made a batch of soap!

I took some time one afternoon in November and made a batch of Orange Spice soap. My office smells so good! The soap has been curing and I'm ready to wrap it soon. Here are the different molds I used for this batch.

Hi Pam!! The soap is beautiful!! I bet it smells even better :) I love orange!! Have you ever tried selling your soap? Do you use lye in your soap? Someone told me once you can't make soap without lye, is that true?? I've been looking for some good, healthy, safe soap.

Truth,
Yes, I sell my soap in a few local stores and this year I hope to do a few craft shows too. I hope to get a business site on the web also in the coming months.

Yes, I use lye to make the soap and you have to use it to make soap.

I currently have curing/drying four batches...Honey/Oatmeal, Spearmint, Plumeria and Lilac scented soap. The first two are ready for wrapping and selling, the others will be ready in the next 10 days.

Have you ever used goat milk soap? How did you hear about my blog?
